The Covid-19 pandemic has demonstrated the current limits of the global food industry, highlighting the need to address many issues such as food security, tackling food waste, redesigning agricultural production, ensuring the resilience of supply chains and diversifying protein sources. With the pandemic, consumption and purchasing preferences have undergone a great change. On the other hand, the threats posed by climate change are creating an unprecedented demand for more efficient, healthy, nutritious and sustainable solutions.
Given the integral role food plays in our lives and its profound impact on culture, we need food brands now more than ever to help create a radically better future for people and the world.
Now is the time for the industry to accept today’s rapid changes, take action against possible threats and work together to transform the way food is produced, consumed and thought. It is time for healthy individuals to unite in a future food system that will create mental and emotional well-being solutions for a livable world and meet new value needs. In its 7th year, the Sustainable Food Summit will focus on the current limits of the food industry and the situation in food systems after the pandemic, which has affected the whole world, and will discuss the obstacles, possible risks and solutions in the transformation of future food systems for healthy people and healthy earth.
All stakeholders of the industry are united by the fact that it is necessary to work together to bring about tangible, positive changes that can benefit both people and the world.
